This is How I Discovered the Secret to Creating Epic Characters!
When I began my art journey, I was lost in a maze of frustration.
Iād stare at blank pages, trying to bring characters to life, but it felt impossible. My anatomy always looked wrong, my outfits were bland and boring (I wasnāt exactly a fashion expert), and no matter how hard I tried, I couldnāt crack the code behind color, light, and shadowā¦
Iād scroll through social media, seeing incredible original characters, and think, “Why canāt I do that?” I thought the problem was a lack of talent.
But the truth was I just needed a better process.
I stopped chasing random tutorials and focused on building a process- a step-by-step system that actually worked. Through trial and error, I discovered a method that transformed the way I create characters. Suddenly:

Itās our way of giving back to the community, by hosting a huge 7-day online challenge on digital painting, completely free.
You start by receiving a client brief that will guide your character creation process.Ā Then you choose a character to draw from a set of 5 descriptions that we’ll send you.
During the week, a professional artist will teach you the essential skills you need to create your own character!Ā
Complete your daily homeworks and post your process to win PRIZES.
Are you passionate about art and love creating characters from your imagination? This challenge is perfect for you!
Whether you’re young or old, a hobbyist or a professional, EVERYONE is welcome to join and showcase their creativity!
The One Week Character Challenge is designed for beginner and intermediate-level digital artists.
Most people who take the challenge have some prior experience with digital art and illustration, and are looking to take their skills to the next level- but you’re welcome to come and learn!
Yes, we highly recommend you use a tablet to follow along with this course!
Any tablet will doā whether thatās a Huion, Wacom, Apple iPad Pro, Microsoft, etc. You donāt need a professional tablet to paint professional artwork!
You can follow along in any software!
Weāll be using Adobe Photoshop (which we highly recommend), but you can follow along in Procreate, Krita, Clip Studio, Corel Painter, or any other software of your choice!
Nope- all lessons will be available online, so you can follow along from the comfort of your own home (or studio, if youāre fortunate enough to have one)!
Participation is completely free, and you’ll get access to all classes and project kit for the duration of the challenge. š
For those interested to keep lifetime access to the classes and get feedback on their work during the challenge we offer a “Backstage Pass” for $45.
